Vacuum packaging machines can package a wide variety of solid, powdered, and liquid items—including raw and cooked foods, fruits, local specialties, medicinal herbs, chemical products, precision instruments, clothing, hardware products, electronic components, and more. However, when selecting a vacuum machine, it’s important to consider the different packaging requirements. Today, we’ll introduce two common packaging methods: vacuum sealing of bags and tray-type shrink wrapping.
Vacuum Packaging machine It can package various solid, powdered, and liquid items—including raw and cooked foods, fruits, local specialties, medicinal herbs, chemical products, precision instruments, clothing, hardware products, electronic components, and more. However, when selecting a vacuum packaging machine, different packaging requirements call for different approaches. Today, we’ll introduce two common vacuum packaging methods: bag vacuum sealing and chamber-type shrink wrapping.

Body-hugging vacuum Packaging machine The thermoformable packaging film is heated and then applied over the product and the baseboard, simultaneously activating the vacuum suction beneath the baseboard. The film is shaped to conform precisely to the product’s contours and adheres firmly to the baseboard (such as colored printed cardboard, corrugated cardboard, or bubble wrap).
After packaging, it has a strong three-dimensional effect and delivers excellent visual presentation. Currently, it’s widely used in stores selling beef and lamb, fresh produce, barbecue items, hot pot ingredients, and more—enjoying great popularity among consumers.
The difference between a conforming vacuum packaging machine and a conventional vacuum packaging machine lies in:
1. Different packaging materials: For example, dual-chamber vacuum packers or external vacuum packers both use vacuum bags as their packaging material, whereas body-fit vacuum packers use PE film and roll film as their packaging material. This is an easily distinguishable feature after packaging.
2. Different operating principles: Conventional vacuum packaging machines use a sealing method to bond the materials together, whereas shrink-wrap vacuum packaging machines employ heated wires to seal the package. A dual-chamber vacuum packaging machine has only one working chamber, while a shrink-wrap vacuum packaging machine is divided into upper and lower vacuum chambers by a shrink-wrap film. The film adheres tightly to the product due to the pressure difference between the two vacuum chambers.
3. Different pricing for vacuum packaging machines: Due to the complex production process and high manufacturing costs of shrink-wrap vacuum packaging machines, their pricing is slightly higher than that of conventional vacuum packaging machines.
4. Different effects after packaging: Vacuum-formed packaging offers a strong three-dimensional effect, allowing viewers to clearly see the product’s shape, color, and texture. In contrast, vacuum packaging lacks this feature, resulting in a different perceived value.
Vacuum packaging refers to the process of completely removing air from within a packaging container and then sealing it, leaving the bag in a highly depressurized state. The scarcity of air is akin to an oxygen-deficient environment, depriving microorganisms of the conditions necessary for survival and ensuring that fruits remain fresh, disease-free, and free from decay. Today, as the pace of life quickens, packaging has become ubiquitous—offering benefits such as extended shelf life or the convenience of being ready-to-eat simply by opening the package—making vacuum-packed foods increasingly popular.
Vacuum Packaging machine The high-temperature heat-transfer fabric is made from premium glass fiber cloth and PTFE resin, featuring a smooth surface and high gloss. In addition to its excellent peelability, wear resistance, low coefficient of friction, and corrosion resistance, this fabric maintains its original physical shape without deformation during processing at temperatures ranging from -70°C to 260°C. Moreover, thanks to its non-toxic, odorless, and tasteless properties, it has been approved by the U.S. FDA for widespread use in food processing, packaging, and other related industries.

A Brief Discussion on the Second Reason for Insecure Sealing in Packaging Machines
The inability to seal properly is also related to the quality of the heat-sealing film. If the corona treatment on the composite liner is uneven and ineffective, and happens to occur precisely at the sealing area, the seal will definitely fail. Although this situation is rare, once it occurs, the product is inevitably scrapped. Therefore, in the color-printed packaging industry, this is a problem that must be addressed by the next stage...
